Nutrition and Welfare Programme - Lenasia, Greyville

The Centre supports a minimum of a 100 families from previously disadvantaged backgrounds located in

the communities of Greyville (Johannesburg South) throughout the year. Many of these recipients are unemployed. Our social -workers

have visited their homes and conducted thorough assessments. During this difficult period, the Centre will continue providing grocery

hampers and essential items (soaps, hand-sanitisers, food items). Literature on social-distancing and personal hygiene will also be distrubted. In addition the Centre will be presenting masks and gloves to help fight the pandemic. This initiative is forecast to continue for the next 3 - 6 months (or as long as the COVID-19 pandemic remains rife).

The Centre is at all times adhering to the rules as gazetted by Government and will maintain strict protocols during the distribution. We place on record our gratitude to the SAPS for granting our Centre a permit to undertake this important work.
