COVID-19 Winter Relief Initiative

After home visits by our Centre’s social workers and devotees, impoverished families are provided with all round support to enable them to become self-supporting members of the community. Support is also directed towards the care of animals. Following the announcement of the National Lockdown by the President of South Africa, the Centre embarked on various relief initiatives to assist the poor in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Destitute families, persons with disability, terminally ill patients (e.g. HIV/AIDS) and foreign nationals were provided with nutritional food hampers, hygiene products (masks, sanitizers, protective gear) and precautionary measures to prevent infection.
